Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities
The Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities consists of more than 200 Catholic colleges and universities in the United States as well as some in Canada and other parts of the world. The purpose of the Association is to offer mutual support among the member institutions, especially in maintaining and nurturing their identity as Catholic institutions amid changing challenges and contexts for scholarship and higher education. Contact with the Catholic hierarchy is through the joint Bishops and Presidents' Committee that ordinarily meets twice a year.

Catholic Relief Services reaches out to people in more than 80 countries and territories around the world to alleviate poverty and suffering. The core of our work is to honor the dignity of the human person, and to work for a world in which all flourish in accordance with that dignity.
The Church in the 21st Century Center
The Church in the 21st Century Center at Boston College seeks to be a catalyst and resource for the renewal of the Catholic Church in the United States by engaging critical issues facing the Catholic community. Drawing from both the Boston College community and others, its activities currently are focused on four challenges: handing on and sharing the Catholic faith, especially with younger Catholics; fostering relationships built on mutual trust and support among lay men and women, vowed religious, deacons, priests, and bishops; developing an approach to sexuality mindful of human experience and reflective of Catholic tradition; and advancing contemporary reflection on the Catholic intellectual tradition.
Education for Justice
The Education for Justice Web Site provides resources and materials for teachers, social action directors, parish members, campus ministers and others in leadership roles to use with their groups/classes in order to deepen their understanding of Catholic Social Teaching and social justice. Members of the Education for Justice Web Site also have the opportunity to share, dialogue and connect with colleagues across the nation.
National Catholic Education Association
The National Catholic Educational Association, the professional association for all Catholic educators, advances the total educational mission of the church; articulates the contribution of Catholic education to the church and society; proclaims the uniqueness of Catholic schools; provides leadership and service to its members; advocates recognition of and support for Catholic education; and fosters local, national and international collaboration.
United States Conference of Catholic Bishops
The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) is an assembly of the hierarchy of the United States and the U.S. Virgin Islands who jointly exercise certain pastoral functions on behalf of the Christian faithful of the United States. The purpose of the Conference is to promote the greater good which the Church offers humankind, especially through forms and programs of the apostolate fittingly adapted to the circumstances of time and place. This purpose is drawn from the universal law of the Church and applies to the episcopal conferences which are established all over the world for the same purpose.
